Recalibration Policy Update

In order to keep your costs consistent and predictable, ACES Systems has long had a policy of “standard pricing” with regard to the amount we charge for the calibration of one of our balance kits. This letter is intended to clarify the pricing model for recalibration of our standard kits.
In order to keep your costs consistent and predictable, ACES Systems has long had a policy of “standard pricing” with regard to the amount we charge for the calibration of one of our balance kits. This letter is intended to clarify the pricing model for recalibration of our standard kits.
Typically, the accelerometers that are part of that kit will be tested and certified at no additional charge. However, in some instances, we have accelerometers that are sent in for certification that are not a product we sell or manufacture. In other instances, we have analyzers come in with an excessive amount of accelerometers. Please accept this letter as notification that an additional fee that will be implemented starting June 1, 2016.
In order to keep costs the same for owners of our standard kits, the new guidelines for test and certification of accelerometers will be as follows:
- When sending in a Model 2020, 2020HR or Cobra II analyzer the maximum amount is two accelerometers.
- When sending in a Model 4040, 4040CE or Viper II analyzer the maximum amount is four accelerometers.
**Each accelerometer that comes in that is over the limit or is not a TEC qualified accelerometer will incur an additional charge.
