This month we look into the different types of cables and connectors used in vibration analysis.

When conducting vibration analysis in aviation maintenance using any of the ACES Systems analyzers such as the Cobra II and the Viper II, the weakest link in the chain is in the cables and connectors.  Find out why and what you can do to minimize some of the most common problems.  Specifically, we’ll explore the types of cables used to carry signals to the analyzer and the types of connectors you’ll likely see.  Then we discuss the most common points of failure and provide you with some pointers for how to avoid trouble.
