ACES Systems recently completed a new system for distribution of the 1700 series procedures you run in your analyzer. The software that makes the new system hum is called ProLoader and it’s free right here on our web site. Go to the Applications download page, then double click on "ProLoader" under the Applications heading.

ProLoader software provides the means to load an electronically stored Procedure from your PC's hard drive, a floppy disk, or CD directly to the memory of your analyzer.

That also means we can email the procedure to you if the need arises. The new system requires an upgrade to your analyzer's Firmware, a ROM change to version 2.08C, that must be completed here at ACES. There’s no charge for the upgrade or the ProLoader software when the analyzers are automatically upgraded during the annual calibration cycle. The upgrade can be done out of cycle for a small fee if you just can’t wait. You will receive the ProLoader software and all your currently-owned procedures on a CD when your equipment is returned to you.

A users manual for ProLoader is also included. Install ProLoader on your PC, then use it to transfer the procedures to your analyzer via your serial communications cable. The help files with the software make it very simple to use, but there’s always someone available to answer your questions at ACES Systems' Product Support if you do have a little trouble.

The new system is the solution for several common problems our customers have experienced in the past such as losing a procedure card or having the battery go dead in the procedure card and not being able to reinstall the needed procedure. With the new system, all you need do is request that a copy of your procedure be emailed to you and within minutes you’re back in business. It also makes rapid modifications to procedure cards possible. The modified procedures can then be emailed out to all customers who currently own them.

You may also send in your analyzer for the upgrade whenever you wish (for a small fee) or wait until it is due for calibration and have it done completely free. Please call the Recalibration Coordinator at ACES Systems' Product Support before returning your analyzer in either case.
