After completing evaluation of several balancers, we went with the ACES Systems' Model 2020. The Model 2020 provided us with all the tools of much more expensive equipment and the support has been excellent.

Since we started using the Model 2020 we have been able to decrease the cycles and maintenance man-hours required to perform both main and tail balance on our fleet of Agusta and Bell helicopters. Our tail balances are typically completed in two runs with results consistently below .05 ips.

Unlike our "old" balancer which only one mechanic could operate, all of our mechanics have become comfortable doing any balance evolution with the Model 2020.

The addition of ACES Systems' AvTrend software to the Model 2020 has been a great tool for archiving and tracking our dynamic balance jobs.
