The Model 540-2 Optical Tracker helps you to perform fast, accurate rotor blade tracking.

The Model 540-2 is convenient and quick to set-up and use. Simply connect the Model 540-2 tracker to an ACES Systems' analyzer, then begin taking measurements--no blade tip targets to mount, no cables or accessories to bracket to the airframe.

The Model 540-2 acquires track data with the use of two internal photo diodes. One is used for a reference, the other a signal. These two voltage levels are compared as each blade passes the viewing area of the tracker. Then each signal is processed along with the once-per-revolution source from the main rotor, resulting in a vertical and angular position indication.
